Who will install my kitchen?

We’re proud to supply both trade and retail customers, backed by over 14 years of experience in the KBB (Kitchen, Bedroom, and Bathroom) sector. We can also connect you with trusted local tradespeople we’ve worked with over the years — their business cards are available in our showroom.

What areas do you supply to?

We cover the whole country as we are a direct partner of the Symphony Group who will deliver anywhere via a 2 person courier.
In terms of local areas we cover all of Peterborough & Cambridgeshire including parts of Lincolnshire.

Can I visit your showroom?

Our showroom is located in Peterborough and is open from 7:30 am – 4.30 pm Monday to Friday and by appointment only over the weekends. There is always a friendly team member on hand to assist you with any of your kitchen design wants and needs!

Can I request a brochure?

Our brochures display the full Symphony group kitchens which are all available to order. If you are interested in requesting a brochure, you can do so via our website or request one in our showroom in Peterborough.

Does my new kitchen come with a guarantee?

For peace of mind, all of the Symphony kitchens come alongside a 10-year guarantee should anything go wrong. Our kitchen designers will provide you with this once your kitchen is delivered including a guide on how to look after your new Symphony kitchen.

Where can I find new kitchen appliances for my new kitchen?

If you are looking for high-quality, long-lasting and affordable domestic appliances for your new kitchen from leading manufacturers such as Bosch, Neff, AEG and more;

How do i choose the right kitchen company?

A kitchen is a big investment, so you need to be confident in who you choose.

Check the reviews from customers. This will give you a great insight into the company.

Look at pictures of projects they have completed so you can see the work they do and not just the glossy brochure pictures from manufacturers.

You can also ask to visit previous customers to see the work in person. (We have lots of our previous customers who have offered to have potential customers come and see their kitchens as they love them so much!)

Is your kitchen design service free?

Yes! We offer a complimentary kitchen design consultation.
We will visit you, discuss your requirements and take measurements. We will then create a CAD design for you so you can see your dream kitchen. Then the fun bit – we invite you in to our showroom to go through everything line by line to make sure you are 100% happy with the project.
All of this is free.

What information do I need before I get in contact with you?

You can have a clear idea of what you’re after, or you can come in with totally blank canvas and work with us to create what you want.

We have designed kitchens for new build projects off plans. It doesn’t matter where you are starting from, we are here to help and advise you.

It would be good for you to have an idea of what your budget is so we can work in a realistic way with you and the timescales you are looking at to get your kitchen done.

We like to be honest and open and manage your expectations from the very beginning of our relationship.

I’ve found a quote for a similar kitchen that is cheaper. Why is that?

We would advise that you ALWAYS, check exactly what you are being quoted for. It may be that you are getting lower grade appliances. A laminate worktop rather than quartz. Have they included fitting costs? Are their carcasses flat pack or solid?

What is the difference between Granite, Quartz and Corian?

Granite
Granite is a natural stone which is quarried in blocks, cut into slabs, trimmed, layered and polished or honed for many uses including statuary & monuments, building siding and kitchen worktops. Each piece is utterly unique due to its location of origin and the conditions and mineral elements that existed in its creation over millennia.

Granite is a wonderful material for a kitchen worktop in many respects but it does need a certain amount of care and maintenance. Some granites are less porous than others but there are only one or two that are slightly porous and may not need resealing.

Quartz
Quartz is a man-made material that combines natural mined quartz with other materials to manufacture uniformly-sized and coloured rectangular slabs from which fabricators can cut, layer and create building materials such as countertops.

It resists scratching, staining and scorching better than any other natural stone or solid surface. Do avoid excessive force or pressure because that may mar or chip the surface. Don’t worry about spills from coffee, wine, lemon juice, olive oil, vinegar, makeup, and many other common household products; just avoid harsh chemicals. Use trivets when placing any hot items to avoid thermal shock.

Corian
Corian is made from natural minerals and high-performance acrylic, Corian is non-porous, resisting stains and bacteria. Created to last a lifetime it is a unique blend of minerals and acrylic which creates a stone-hard surface that can be formed in almost any shapes.

Stains, scratches and light scorches can be removed from Corian surfaces with sandpaper or a scouring pad and a cleanser. If this is done carefully, the finish is not badly damaged and the removal of these problems is difficult to detect.
The matte finish of Corian will scratch and dull if it is treated too aggressively.

What is the average cost of a kitchen?

The cost of a kitchen depends on what range you choose and what appliances you have, along with worktop choice and accessories included.
We work with you on your investment levels and can supply you with a kitchen that is £2k up to in excess of £40k!
As a guide the average cost of a kitchen is £5,000 – £15,000.
